Our industry probably hasn’t seen any .FM domain sales in the domain name marketplace, but here is one that may change the way people look at the potential value that such domains hold.
Following a few weeks of negotiation with a fellow domainer, we have considered his initial bid of $300 for the domain name, Webmaster.FM. To give the community a chance to bid on it, we have decided to take it to a 7-day auction through Sedo.com.

The one-word, generic dictionary term domain was registered back in January 2000 by Michael Schoenboeck, a registrant located in Austria. Michael let the domain expire on the 25th of January of this year – the day we picked it up.

A webmaster is someone who is in charge of a website, especially someone who does that as their job.
